Bathrooms need upgrade and the TV was inop but the people were super friendly and it was clean and quiet.
Cheep government issue rooms. Clean and comfortable with no frills
The place is clean, great service, and cable/wifi was good. The location was pretty far back on base and took some time to get anywhere local, but the price is worth it. They are definitely renovated dorms that have been turned into single rooms and suites, so fine for a mil stay but may leave the vacationers desiring more. All together no complaints though, Alaska is amazing.
Friendly ladies at office! Hikes in all directions. Town nice walk. Salmon. Lydia Jacoby's, Olympic gold, high school allows visitors. Berries to pick. We planned two days but stayed 3 weeks.
Room was clean and spacious. Had microwave and wifi. The toilet was running constantly when I got there and had to call in a work order over the weekend. They did get someone out to fix it at the beginning of the week. There were 4 of us staying there and 3 out of the 4 of us ended up having some sort of Key Card issues, so I would def ask to have extra cards. Room was really warm when I got there, but luckily the room was supplied with a big fan I could put in the window. They also had a little grill outside of the building, so grab some charcoal from the commissary.
Love the peaceful area with beautiful surroundings mountains. Only a few times a day the jets fly by making a jaw dropping view.
The parking lot was wonderful, was TDY in Anchorage and stayed a month in the back near a light pole. Would recommend, though I am unsure what the strange building like structures were around me, hence the 4 stars ..
The lodging here is nice but almost $50, more expensive than the Marriott. If you're not on orders, You get several different stories of when you can call to reserve your room. I was told 2 weeks prior, then I called about 1 month before, and they had rooms available/can book but much higher than out in town. You cannot make reservations online.
